Tucked away in the heart of Oakwood, three connecting, wooded trails invite calm reflection, colorful scenery and an appreciation of our natural environment. Discover the history, nature and geography behind these hidden gems with Mark W. Risley of the Oakwood Historical Society. Meet at the Library at 10:00 AM for this 1.5 mile walk through Loy Garden, Elizabeth Gardens and Houk Stream. Water bottles and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Photography is encouraged!
In collaboration with the Oakwood Community Center, the Wright Library presents Lego Batman, projected on a giant screen at Old River! Popcorn is provided. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs and a flashlight. Rain location is the OCC’s large program room.
