The Lincoln Society of Dayton will present "On the Campaign Trail with Lincoln", marking the 150th anniversary of his nomination, campaign and election as the 16th President of the United States, on Wednesday July 14, 2010, at 6:30-7:30 p.m. Members of the Society will share the impact of Lincoln's visit to Dayton in the fall of 1859 and the pivotal role which Ohio played in making the election possible the following year.
