Children ages 3-5 will join Mrs. Rose for stories, songs,
games, and films.
Mrs. Sommer will lead this new program introducing kids to great audio books. Each week, bring your lunch and listen to sample chapters from several audio books. Audio books from those sampled that day will be available for check-out, so don’t forget your library card.
For grades 3-6 beginning Wednesday, September 22 during lunch hour, from 11:45-12:30, in the Wright Library Meeting Room.
*No registration is necessary, however a form for your teacher is required indicating that you will be attending the program during your lunch hour. Stop by the library to pick one up.
Do you like to draw, make art, write stories or poetry? Join other teens at the library and B CR8tive together. For this month, spooky inspiration and supplies will be provided. Snacks, too! Grades 7-12.

"Drop in" for books, blocks, puppets, puzzles, coloring, and play stations from 3:00p.m. until 3:40 p.m. After children clean up the toys, a snack and a story is then followed by circle time dances. Social skills and early literacy skills are enhanced in this interactive program which fosters the love of books and the library for the young child.
Mrs. G., along with teen volunteers, will be there to host our Saturday afternoon program.
This program is suitable for children ages 6 and under (ages 2 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult).
Celebrate Teen Read Week: "Books With Beat" by watching "School of Rock"! Snacks provided, or bring your own haul from trick-or-treat.

Tween CCG: Cooking, Crafts, Games is for tweens in grades 4-8. Each week you can do a different activity with Mrs. Bengson. Our craft this week is making some cool necklaces and bracelets from rubber bands and beads.

WAM (Wright Anime Manga) meets on the first Wednesday of each month. We watch anime, talk about our favorite manga, and eat snacks. Grades 7-12.

Now showing: "Karate Kid" Rated: PG Time: 140 minutes Popcorn will be served, but feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. All ages welcome.
Mothers are encouraged to accompany their daughters to the 7th annual Mother/Daughter Tea Party. Young ladies may dress in their best party dresses, and they may bring their favorite dolls. Tea and cookies will be served. For ages 2-6.
Registration begins Monday, October 25, 2010.
Friends of Wright Library are sponsoring “Learn to Buy and Sell on eBay” with Tommy Collins, Sunday, November 7th at Wright Memorial Public Library. Mr. Collins, an eBay Education Specialist, will teach the ins and outs of eBay from bidding to PayPal to feedback. The presentation will be from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.
Mr. Collins has been a registered member on eBay since 2006. He has found that selling on eBay is the easiest home-based business and enjoys sharing the experience and training with everyone.
The program is free. Advance registration is required and is limited to the first 65 people. Contact the Reference Department at (937) 294-7171 to register, beginning Friday, October 22nd at 10 a.m.

TAB (Teen Advisory Board) is open to any teen, grades 7-12, who would like to participate. We meet once a month to plan special events and to coordinate volunteer opportunities at the library. Based on the bestseller "Percy Jackson & the Olympians" by Rick Riordan, this party will incorporate games, crafts, and snacks with an ancient Greek mythology theme. Don't forget to wear your toga! For grades 2-5. Registration begins Monday, November 1, 2010.
