Fulbright Lecture: “Societal Modernization in the Middle East”
Dr. Musa Shteiwi, a Fulbright Visiting Specialist at Central State University, Wright State University, and Sinclair Community College through the Fulbright’s “Direct Access to the Muslim World” program, will be presenting a lecture, “Societal Modernization in the Middle East,” on Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Shteiwi, who earned his Master’s and PhD at the University of Cincinnati, is a sociologist with fourteen years of experience teaching at the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, where he teaches in the Gender Studies and Human Rights and Development programs in addition to the Sociology Department. His experience includes consultancies with government, UN, and international organizations and research institutions. He is also the founder and director of the Jordan Center for Social Research.
