Wright Memorial Public Library Foundation

The Wright Memorial Public Library Foundation was established in 1997 under the umbrella of The Dayton Foundation. It exists to raise funds in support of the mission and goals of the Library. Each year it makes grants to the Library to help pay for special projects and programming. The Foundation welcomes contributions through its website, or you may up a contribution form at the Library.

Book and AV Donations

The Library welcomes book donations for the annual book sale. Donations can be dropped off all year long any time the library is open. Used CDs, videos, and DVDs are also accepted.

Volunteering

Please come to the Library and fill out a Volunteer Application Form, or download it and then send or bring it to the Library. A staff member will call you to confirm your interest, describe a job that needs doing, and work with you to find a schedule that meets the hours you have available. Some of the things that most need doing are not glamorous, but are essential. For example, help with filing, dusting shelves, and cleaning and mending materials is appreciated.
