Join other teens who are interested in writing fiction and poetry to discuss writing, do some writing, and constructively and kindly critique each other’s work. We alternate writing exercises/games with learning about writing as a craft. For grades 7-12.

Airbrush Art

Let’s get creative with airbrushes! The library will supply airbrush machines, paint, stencils, and paper. Patrons are welcome to bring fabric, glass, canvas, or other objects to be airbrushed. Play clothes are encouraged. Parents please note: this program is designed to be inclusive and accessible. All children are encouraged to attend.

Writers' Cafe

Writers' CafeHang out with other writers in a casual environment, ask questions, and share your successes and frustrations with plot, character, setting, theme and more. This is a writer-led group. Recommended for Adults 18 and up. All experience levels welcome. This group meets on the first Friday (7pm) and third Sunday(2:30pm) of each month.
