Find devices that boost audio at select programs, enlarge text for a better visual experience, or access apps that bring reading and listening material to your personal device. We welcome you to explore our accessible offerings as well as upcoming programs.

ListenWIFI - ListenWIFI is a small receiver device that amplifies audio while at select library programs. You can also download the ListenWIFI app and use your own mobile device for amplification. To request the ListenWIFI receiver, or for help downloading the app, contact a librarian prior to a Wright Library program.
Color Blind Glasses - Patrons with red-green deficiency can check out a pair of Pilestone Color Blind Glasses for enhanced color vibrancy and improved color differentiation. Three models are available through the Library of Things: adult outdoor/bright light, adult indoor/low-light, and child outdoor/bright light. Made possible through the generosity of William R. Martin, OD, and Associates Tyler Carter, OD, and Blake Pittser, OD.
Low Vision Ruby Magnifier - The Ruby Magnifier is a hand-held magnification device that can be used when perusing book titles or for reading while at the library. Ask a librarian to borrow this on your next library visit.
Merlin LCD Magnifier for Enhanced Vision - Patrons are welcome to use this self-service desktop video magnifier designed to assist individuals with low vision to see printed materials more clearly. It features adjustable magnification, color contrast, and brightness settings — providing a fully customizable viewing experience.
NVDA Screen Reader - For use with a library computer, the NVDA screen reader will read aloud the text on the screen, allowing users to navigate and interact with applications and websites using keyboard commands. Ask to borrow this service from the Reference Desk on the main level of the library.
Large Print Books - Find a huge selection of large-print books in the front reading room.
Accessible Accommodations - Wright Library has wheelchair accessible parking, sloped entrances, an elevator, and accessible restrooms on the Park Level. Trained Service Animals are welcomed.
Memory Care Learning Kits in the Library of Things Collection - These kits are designed to provide meaningful activities that stimulate the mind and spark conversation between caregivers and people experiencing loss of cognitive functioning, often due to Alzheimer’s disease or Dementia. These sensory items are tools to promote memory health and awareness.
