Join Wright Library Teens to help those in need.

From June 9-23, 2025, Wright Library Teen volunteers and the Teen Advisory Board will be collecting donations of personal-sized hygiene products for local non-profit, House of Bread, who provides meals and personal care items to individuals in need. Collection boxes will be available at each library entrance.

Personal/trial-sized donations needed include:

• Shampoo and Conditioner
• Toothpaste and Toothbrushes
• Deodorant
• Bar Soap and Body Wash

Teens going into grades 7-12 who would like to get more involved with the project, are invited to earn service hours by helping with the donation drive at these upcoming events:

House of Bread Donation Prep (June 3)

On June 3 from 6:00-8:30 p.m., drop in to Wright Library to decorate the donation bins that will be located at each of the library's entrances. This drop-in program will take place in the Teen Area located on the Park Level. More information about the June 3 event.

House of Bread Donation Collection and Toy Making (June 23)

On June 23 from 12:30-2:00 p.m., drop in to Wright Library to help organize the collected donations and create small stuffed toys for children who visit House of Bread. More information about the June 23 event.
