She is a National Indie Excellence Book Award Finalist and a Readers' Favorite Book Award Finalist. Join her at Wright Library for an in-depth look at self-publishing - How is it different from traditional publishing? What is the process, and how much does it cost? Cerny will share her own experience, cover the self-publishing basics, and answer your questions. This workshop is aimed at authors of all stripes who are considering self-publishing their work.
Barbara T. Cerny grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado and served in US Army (active  and reserves) until she retired as a lieutenant colonel in 2007.  She wrote her first two novels during her deployment to the Middle East in 2005 and hasn’t stopped. Cerny works as an information technology specialist and supervisor for the US Air Force and lives with her loving husband, their two active teenagers, two needy cats, and two turtles. The turtles patiently watch her write and listen to her intently as she discusses plot lines with them.
