Children Make a Difference Cosplay Event

Calling all history lovers! In conjunction with the Choosing to Participate poster exhibition Wright Library is holding a children’s cosplay event on Saturday, May 9 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Zoom. Everyone who attends should dress up as a historical person who made a difference. From Susan B. Anthony to Simone Biles, Luciano Pavarotti to Nicola Tesla, tell everyone about the awesome person you’re cosplaying! Every child who joins the program will be “interviewed” by children’s library staff so kids can share who they are dressed as and why. As time allows, Ms. BonDurant and Miss Karen will highlight great books from the Choosing to Participate recommended reading lists, too!
