About the Program

It's not just science fiction anymore! Chances are, you have heard the term "Artificial Intelligence" in a story or in the news. Local experts will discuss what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, its impact on society and the possibilities.

Joining us will be Dr. Tanvi Banerjee, Associate Professor, Director of DASH  (Data Science for Healthcare) Laboratory, Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Wright State University;  Dr. William D. Casebeer, Director, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Riverside Research and/or Dr. Bayley King, Research Scientist at Riverside Research and Adjunct Faculty at University of Dayton; and Dr. Darrell Crowe, Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB. 

Dr. Banerjee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, with a secondary appointment at the Department of Geriatrics, Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. Her research interest lies in using technology to solve healthcare challenges specifically to manage chronic conditions. 

Dr. Darrell S. Crowe (Lt Col, USAF) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB. Dr. Crowe’s research interests include using machine learning to predict highly nonlinear fluid dynamic behavior.
