Home representing classic architecture in Oakwood

About the Program

Continuing last year’s celebration of the 150th anniversary of Oakwood’s platting, this lecture explores the multitude of architectural styles within the Oakwood community. The rich diversity of styles; English Tudor homes, Georgian Rival homes, cottage style and Craftsman style homes are reflective of our community and its history. As examples of our early 20th-century architecture are shared, the remarkable artistic details of the houses and the historical stories associated with them will come to light.

The Far Hills Speaker Series is presented through a partnership between the Oakwood Historical Society and Wright Memorial Public Library
