Learn about Nancy Grace Roman, the Mother of Hubble Space Telescope!
Enjoy a visit with children’s book author Jennifer Sommer as she reads her book Her Eyes Were on the Stars: Nancy Grace Roman, Mother of Hubble Space Telescope and shares related activities and a snack. Copies of the books will be available for purchase. Geared toward children in grades 1-3. Families welcome. Following the program, solar eclipse glasses will be available, made possible by a grant from The Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation and the Space Science Institute. One to two pairs per household, while supplies last.
