Adult Summer Challenge 2025

Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2025

How it works

June 1- July 31: Read books and complete activities to earn badges and rewards!

  1. Register as a participant, either in Beanstack (What is Beanstack?) or in-person at the library. Get a prize* just for signing up!

  2. Read or listen to books. Log each book title you complete between June 1 to July 31. Each book = 1 Ticket to enter in the prize drawing of your choice. Limit 30 books per person. (In Beanstack, look under Tickets)

  3. Complete activities to earn badges and extra tickets for the prize drawing. (In Beanstack, look under Activities)

  4. Win small delights. Starting Monday June 9, visit the library to spin the library prize wheel. Spin once weekly throughout the summer.

Wright Library offers registration and logging through the Beanstack mobile app or Beanstack web app. Learn more below about how to register and log your reading. Paper tracking sheets will also be available.

Prize drawings will take place August 1. Make sure to claim all prizes by 5 PM on August 11.

*Prizes for participation & prize wheel spins are offered while supplies last. No prizes will be mailed, but Oakwood residents may be eligible for our "Wright to Your Home" delivery service.

About the Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2025

How to Register

Join anytime before July 31. There are 3 ways to register.

Option 1: Beanstack mobile app

  1. Install the Beanstack app on a mobile device.
  2. Log in or create your Wright Library Beanstack account.
  3. Once logged in, join Wright Library's Adult Summer Challenge.

Option 2: Beanstack web app

  1. Visit Wright Library's Beanstack site.
  2. Log in or create your Wright Library Beanstack account.
  3. Once logged in, join Wright Library's Adult Summer Challenge.

With Options 1 and 2:

  • No library card number is needed. Beanstack is not linked to your Wright Library patron account.
  • Parents with children participating in our Youth Summer Reading Challenge can add children as additional readers under the same account. Track the whole family's reading in one place.
  • Log in with an existing account if you've used Beanstack in a previous Wright Library challenge. No need to create a new one each year.
  • If you registered for Beanstack through another library, you'll need a separate account for Wright Library's Beanstack site. You can toggle between libraries in the mobile app.

Option 3: Participate without Beanstack

Visit the Research Desk on the library's Main Level to register in person and pick up a paper tracking sheet (or print it out below).

Log your book titles

The easiest way to log your reading is from the Beanstack app or on our Beanstack site. Log any books you read from June 1 through July 31.  Remember to record number of book titles, not number of minutes

You can also download and print a tracking sheet. Track your reading on paper, then enter your progress in Beanstack later, or bring your sheet to the Research Desk where staff can enter your progress for you.
