September 9 | Oh frabjous day!  It’s a Mad Hatter Party with activity stations for children ages 4-8 featuring Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

July 30 | Birds of prey visit Wright Library. Audience participation encouraged. 

June 24 | Don't skip out on this nationally-recognized jump rope team (Mason, Ohio) featuring jumpers from 2nd grade through college.

June 11 | A fun and fact-filled family-friendly concert about flying animals.

Wednesdays | Create, cooperate, and have fun. For kids entering grades 1-4.

Wright Library will be closed all day Friday Dec. 23.

Get interactive with Native American tools and games at this program from Sunwatch Village.  Educators are bringing original and replica artifacts for families to view and handle.  Weather permitting, we’ll play the Chunky Stone Game outside, too!    

Saturday Oct. 15, from 2-4 p.m.

Come get hands-on with this exhibit of animal pelts and sixteen animal skulls from Miami University’s Hefner Museum of Natural History.

Join the library and the Miami Valley Astronomical Society at Old River for International Observe the Moon Night—an annual NASA-sponsored event. The moon will be in the Waxing Gibbous phase, and depending upon conditions and timing, Jupiter and Saturn may be visible through MVAS’s telescopes, too. Astronomy-themed books will be available for checkout at the program. All ages are welcome.
