David Lee Garrison, an emeritus Wright State professor, will read from his new book, Light in the River (Dos Madres Press).  His poems have been read by Garrison Keillor on “The Writer’s Almanac” and on the BBC in London, and he was named Ohio Poet of the Year in 2014.

Herbert Woodward Martin is the author of eleven volumes of poetry. His most recent are The Shape of Regret and Sometimes, Say My Name, which won The Publication Prize from The William Meredith Foundation.  His musical collaboration, A Knee On The Neck, was premiered by The National Philharmonic Orchestra in Bethesda, Maryland this year to rave reviews. He served as professor of English and poet-in-residence at the University of Dayton for more than three decades where he taught creative writing and African-American literature.
