2017 Annual Fund Drive
The Wright Memorial Public Library Foundation announces the kickoff of its 2017 Annual Fund drive.
Donations to the Library Foundation support the Library's mission by providing fun and innovative programs, materials, outreach, amenities and services that the Library could not otherwise provide the community. Recently the Foundation has sponsored summer reading events, educational programs, literacy initiatives, authors and guest speakers, and facility updates.
“Your donations and enduring support ensure a first-class library in the heart of Oakwood. We wish to thank those who contributed so generously in 2016. Those funds allowed us to support the Children’s Summer Reading Program, provide an eco-friendly water fountain, update the Library’s educational toys and early literacy supplies and sponsor an author event, just to name a few. With continued support we look forward to facilitating many more opportunities for the Library to enrich the community,”
- Foundation Board President, Ann Marquis.
Donations to the Foundation are invested and expended for the exclusive benefit of the library and operates as a component fund of the Dayton Foundation. Anyone wishing to donate to the Library Foundation’s 2017 Annual Fund drive can do so by mail, at the library, or online.
Artwork for the 2017 Annual Fund was provided by Oakwood resident, Brent Beck. For more information regarding his drawings, illustrations and paintings, please visit www.brentbeck.com.
