American Indians from the Smithsonian American Art Museum

Educators from the Smithsonian American Art Museum will be joining Wright Library live on Zoom to share artworks that explore the histories and cultures of American Indians, as captured by both Native and non-Native artists.  This program is intended for children in grades K-6.  Register here to receive the link.

Holiday Craft Class

Felt BirdJoin Jesy from Needle, Ink, and Thread in this free virtual craft class to create a holiday embroidered felt ornament. The class will be held through Zoom and all craft supplies will be available in kits that can be picked up at the library (1 kit per registered attendee). This class will be limited to the first 30 Adults that register. Exploring Textures with the Columbus Museum of Art

Discover the fabulous textures around you while you play with a fun & versatile stencil!  Megan Green from the Columbus Museum of Art will lead kids in creating a stencil in the shape of a jacket, skirt, pants or hat…and then finding eye-catching textures to fill it!  Hold your best discoveries up to the camera so everyone at the virtual program can see the texture of your imagination!  Supply bags with stencil paper and assorted textured materials are available for pic
