Visit the Library any time today to play board games.  With over a dozen games available, you're sure to find a playful time!  Games will range from classics to indies, will be age-inclusive and family-friendly, and will include different skill sets: word games, strategy games, cooperative games, etc. Pop in for a single game or stay for hours.  Play with family, friends, out-of-town guests, and everybody in between.

To play, sign out games at the Research or Youth Services desks.  Play anywhere in the Library, and return the games to the desk when you leave.

This event is an extravagant, yet laid-back evening dedicated to manga and anime.  There will be games, crafts, chatting and snacks.  Join in the selected activities or bring your own to share. For grades 7-12.

Drop-in programs—come for 2 minutes, 20 minutes, or 2 hours.  For families with preschool and elementary-age children.

September: Puppeteering.  Make your own paper bag puppets and play with the Library’s stash of puppets.  Record a skit with the puppets, using our pre-made scripts or one of your own!

In collaboration with the Oakwood Community Center, the Wright Library presents Sing-a-Long Beauty and the Beast (2017) shown in the OCC's large programming. Yes, singing out loud is encouraged—Miss Jacqui will be singing along right alongside you! Popcorn is provided. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs and a flashlight. (This program was originally at Old River but has been moved indoors due to inclement weather).
Gates open at 8:30pm and the movie starts at 9:15pm.
