Calling all history lovers! In conjunction with the Choosing to Participate poster exhibition Wright Library is holding a children’s cosplay event on Saturday, May 9 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Zoom. Everyone who attends should dress up as a historical person who made a difference. From Susan B. Anthony to Simone Biles, Luciano Pavarotti to Nicola Tesla, tell everyone about the awesome person you’re cosplaying!

In this fierce cooking battle, the Caravan Chefs will go head to head to find out who can create the most amazing dish and they need you, the audience, to be sous chefs and judges!

Imagine walking down a generations-old road.  A rustle off to the side makes you snap to attention, and you hold your breath as a tiger crosses your path.  Her ancestors have used this same road for as many generations as yours. In some parts of the world, people share their environment with tigers just as we share ours with coyotes or hawks.  In this poster exhibit, explore the world of the tiger.

The Wright Library is clearing out the closets to bring you a vast variety of take-and-make crafts.  Show us what you make by messaging us on social media or emailing us a picture!

Virtually tour the Paly Foundation Tiger! Tiger! poster exhibit, make a follow-along tiger craft, hear a tiger story, and learn how you can help tigers in the wild at this tiger-riffic program.

Pick up craft supplies at Wright Library starting Monday, July 20, and join Youth Services Librarians Diane Bengson and Karen Mills on Wright Library’s Facebook page starting at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 25.
